MEMBERSHIP

Any person of Orthodox Jewish faith is eligible to apply for membership of the Society.  Applicants are required to pay an entrance fee which is age related, and subsequently are required to pay an annual subscription which is set each year by the Society at the AGM.

Applicants must accept the conditions of membership, in particular relating to burial according to Orthodox Jewish rites and the style of tombstones.

Further details of the Constitution and Rules of the Society can be obtained by members on request.

Members should be aware that their subscription provides for funeral arrangements, cars and burial but does not include provision of a Rabbi or Minister.  This would normally be provided through Shul membership. If they are not Shul members, we will facilitate the attendance of a Minister who will normally charge a fee.  Please contact the Burial  Officer for further information.
